Five Powerful Questions

Leading an organization can be complex and often times feel overwhelming. Trying to decide on the right strategy, make good operational decisions and lead day-to-day activities is difficult. Peter Drucker, arguably one of the most influential management experts of all time, suggests there are five essential questions that can help focus our efforts as leaders. These questions get to the essence of who we are as an organization, where we should be going and how we're going to get there. The simplicity yet power of these questions make them touchstones that leaders should regularly revisit.

1. What is our mission?

2. Who is our customer?

3. What does the customer value?

4. What are our results? 

5. What is our plan?
